Terms of Service

Goalfinder is an API gateway. It gives you one API key and one OpenAI-compatible endpoint for a catalog of third-party AI models, and meters your usage against a prepaid balance. We are not the model provider: each model is operated by its own upstream provider, and your use of a model is additionally subject to that provider's terms.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You are responsible for everything done with your API keys, for keeping them secret, and for the accuracy of the information on your account. Issue a separate key per application so you can revoke one without disrupting the others, and tell us immediately if a key leaks. Keys are stored as one-way hashes — we cannot recover a lost key for you.

• Goalfinder is sold as prepaid credit packs. A pack grants a fixed amount of usage credit, measured in US dollars at list price.
• Usage is billed per token at the list price published for each model, and is deducted from your balance as requests settle. Prices and the model catalog may change at any time.
• Usage credit is a prepaid balance for API consumption. It is not money, is not a deposit, carries no interest, and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for cash.
• If your balance will not cover the worst-case cost of a request, the request is rejected with a "insufficient balance" error before any upstream call is made.
• We may suspend or discontinue a model, or the service as a whole. If we permanently discontinue the service, unused credit is handled as described in the refund section below.

To claim a duplicate-charge refund, email contact@goalfinder.space within 30 days of the charge, from the email address on your account, and include the payment reference or receipt. We will verify the duplicate against our records and, where confirmed, refund the excess amount to your original payment method.

If a payment was taken but your balance was never credited, contact us — resolving that is a billing correction, not a refund, and we will fix it.

You agree not to use Goalfinder to:

• break any law, or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
• generate content that is illegal, or that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
• produce malware, conduct unauthorised intrusion, or facilitate fraud, deception or harassment;
• attempt to bypass rate limits, balance checks or authentication, or otherwise interfere with the integrity of the service;
• resell, proxy, or expose the service to third parties as your own without our written agreement;
• use automated means to extract model outputs in bulk for the purpose of training a competing model.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit and for how you use model outputs. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete or offensive; verify anything you rely on, and do not treat outputs as professional legal, medical or financial advice.

We do not store your prompts or the responses you receive. To serve a request we must forward your prompt to the upstream provider of the model you called, and that provider's policies then apply to it — including, for some providers, retention and use of your inputs to train their models. Which providers do what is set out in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for choosing models appropriate to the sensitivity of your data, and you must not send confidential or regulated data to a provider whose terms do not suit it.

You keep all rights to the content you submit. As between you and us, we claim no ownership over your inputs or the outputs you receive, subject to the upstream provider's terms. We own the Goalfinder name, the site, the dashboard and the gateway software.

The service is provided on an as-is basis. We do not guarantee uptime, and models may be added, changed, repriced or removed at any time. Upstream providers can rate-limit, degrade or fail independently of us. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe exposes us or our providers to legal or security risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goalfinder is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and Goalfinder agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada for any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service.

Nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you in your country of residence.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
